It is most commonly installed in piping system for regulating & controlling flow of fluids & even gases as per need. This valve is provided with a hand lever which rotates in 90 degrees for permitting & restricting flow. It is known to work on principle of using a diaphragm & floating ball which lifts or rests for controlling fluid movement.
